who i am

i earned a master's degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from pepperdine university, malibu.
i completed my graduate-level training at the boys and girls club of malibu wellness center, a mental health organization that provides affordable therapeutic services to the general public of california. while there, i received training in various therapeutic approaches, assessment tools, and ethical standards. i also trained at a residential eating disorder treatment program, where i supported adults navigating eating disorders and associated mental health challenges.
upon graduating, i began working at playa vista counseling where i continue to provide mental health support to children, teens, adults, and couples in the los angeles area. i also received extensive experience providing individual and group therapy for clear behavioral health’s intensive outpatient program.

i take an eclectic approach to best support my clients. this includes a humanistic or ‘real person in the room’ approach to psychotherapy. i utilize various established approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and gestalt therapy. when working with me, your needs, opinions, and hopes will be valued and uplifted to move towards you towards your goals. i am able to provide in-person services to clients in the los angeles area, as well as virtual services to anyone who resides in california.
